Luminar’s Portrait Retouching Tools rely on Artificial Intelligence. That makes them ideal candidates to include in a Luminar Look. If for example you include the Teeth Whitening slider in a Look and then apply that Look to an image where your model has his or her mouth shut, that particular slider will simply be disregarded, but other tools you included in the Look will still remain in effect.
Similarly, if you have the AI Skin Defects Removal on, Luminar will look in each individual image you apply the Look to for skin defects to remove. It won't simply look for problems in the exact same location as the image you based the Look on.
Building on this idea, you could even create a couple of different Portrait Retouching Looks, depending on whether you're going for a more understated retouch or a downright glamour look. Thanks to the Amount slider that each Luminar Look has, it's easy to take the effect down a little if it's too much on a particular image.
And, since Looks simply set the sliders to pre-recorded values, you can still change every one of them around as much as you want.
