Enhancing portraits with textures(18)

In this tutorial, we will have a look at an interesting way to spice up the portraits that you shoot against a grey backdrop by replacing that backdrop with a texture. I'll even provide you with five sample textures from my high-resolution texture packs.

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to replace any grey background with a texture of your choosing, and you can download 5 high-res textures for free.

There are two ways to do this in Luminar. The first and easiest is with the Texture Overlay tool but in this tutorial, I will show you another technique using Image Layers that offers even more control and you will learn a couple of interesting tips and techniques along the way, like how to copy and paste masks between layers, how to change your brush size using shortcuts and when to use Adjustment Layers.

Have fun with the tutorial and the texture sample pack that you can downloadhere for free.
