Yohei Kubo is a landscape photographer based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, the second largest Japanese island. He started his journey as a photographer taking portraits and wedding photos. Later, when he started traveling around Hokkaido, he switched to landscape photography. Hokkaido has four distinct seasons, which helps Yohei "catch the light" and photograph unique nature scenes. In his works, Yohei aims for something different in the shadows, light and shade, composition, and color.
