In this video Jim Nix shows you how to use the two different variations of the Gradient Masks in Aurora HDR 2017. Jim uses a photo he took of a Venetian canal and starts with a preset as a base and then adds an Adjustment Layer to show examples of both masks. In the Gradient Mask, he makes Exposure and Color adjustments to the sky and upper part of the image. In the radial gradient mask, he darkens the image while keeping the light on a line of boats, creating a very romantic mood in the image.
