The lifetime license has a time limit for the usage of new non-cloud (non-generative) technologies like Studio Light, Water Enhancer, Glow & Neon, and it’s available until August 16th, 2024. They will stay with you forever, but to continue receiving new technologies you will have to purchase a new Pass or switch to a subscription.
The Pro subscription has no limitations and provides access to all technologies during the period when it is active.
The Pro subscription includes access to all the Extensions, including future Extensions and works on 2 computers instead of 1.
What happens with a lifetime license on August 16th, 2024?
You’ll still be able to use the Luminar Neo photo editor, but the following changes will apply:
You will lose access to the cloud (generative AI) technologies (Gen Erase, Gen Expand, Gen Swap).
You will stop receiving new features, but you will keep non-cloud (non-generative) technologies (Studio Light, Water Enhancer, Glow & Neon etc.) that have already been delivered to you.
In order to continue using cloud (generative AI) technologies and receive new features, you will need to purchase a new Pass or switch to the Pro subscription.
