Today we've released our 2nd free update to Aurora HDR 2018, as promised. Response to the new version of Aurora HDR 2018 has been terrific, and the Skylum developers haven’t slowed the pace! The result is a very robust version 1.1.0 release with new and improved features for both the Mac and Windows platforms.

Right off the bat, follow these instructions to update your copy:

Launch Aurora HDR 2018 as a standalone. It will automatically ask if you want to update, but if not, simply select the Aurora HDR 2018 > Check for Updates (For Windows: Help->Check for Updates) menu to proceed. Your copy will be updated to the version 1.1.0 release. You may also be required to put in your administrator’s password in order to install the plug-ins.

  • Improved Sharpen on Export
  • Improved User experience
  • Improved menu for Masking, Brushing
  • Improved Batch Processing (fixes to preview dimensions and re-ordering of brackets)
  • Improved RAW support
  • Fixed issues with saving to native document
