In this Skylum original video, professional photographer Jim Nix will discuss the difference between split toning and split color warmth. Though the names are similar, the powerful functions they offer are very different (which, as Jim points out, can be confusing). Split color warmth selectively enhances the cool and warm tones with vibrancy and an ethereal feel. And, though it works similarly to split color warmth, split toning tones the image with separate colors for highlights and shadows. Watch as Jim takes the colors from a sunset shot — warming it up and cooling it down to show the flexibility of Luminar filters.
