Photo of the Month Results in Luminar Insiders: November Winner

The November Photo of the Month contest has ended. We can’t thank you enough for all the amazing submissions. Your creative images and inspirational stories still amaze us and we’re sure your fellow Insiders members feel the same. Choosing only one winner is extremely difficult, but each month the decision should be made. Are you ready for the reveal?

To quote Kent Vaughn: 

Due to the pandemic, I could not take my wife on her ‘retirement vacation’ to the Big Island of Hawaii last year, but we were able to go with another couple this past week...just in time to see the Kilauea Volcano during an active eruption. We had to hike 2-plus miles after dark along Crater Rim Drive in Hawaii Volacanoes Nat’l Park to the Byron Ledge to view the active lava flow. Needless to say, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience so see an active volcano spewing lava throughout the Kilauea Caldera from the Halema’uma’u Crater!This photo was taken with my Nikon D500 and a Tamron 18-400mm telephoto @ 400mm. ISO 4K, f6.3, 1/320sec exposure. My Luminar edits were Enhance @ +41, Light tweaks were Smart Contrast +33, Highlights +17, and Shadows +35. Details added Sharpen at +27. With an ISO at 4000 I the used the Denoise tweaks with Luminosity +30 and Color +22.
