You’ll see all sorts of options.
Try right-clicking on an overlay or an adjustment layer. You can duplicate or hide a layer… give it a new name… or even change its blending mode. Get precise control over a layer's properties.
Do keep in mind that the bottom layer has few controls, so try adding a preset to an adjustment layer and then experiment with your options.
