1. Open your photo and go to the Edits tab.
2. Click Layers in the top right corner.In the left corner, click on the big plus sign. A menu with Overlays will automatically appear.

How to get lens flares with Luminar Neo?
Luminar Neo has the Layers feature that lets you combine multiple photos, plus plenty of built-in Overlays that you can use as Layers; for example, the sun lens flare. Simply navigate to Layers and add the Overlays with lens flares to your photo!
Can I customize the color and shape of the lens flare?
You can’t customize the Overlays with lens flares already present in Luminar Neo, but you can add Overlays with any color and shape lens flares, or any other effects you like.
Is there a way to remove lens flares if I change my mind?
Of course! Simply undo the changes and hide the Layer with the Overlay from view.
Does lens flare affect the overall image quality?
Lens flares can have both positive and negative impacts on image quality, and their effect depends on how they are managed and incorporated into your photography. When used thoughtfully and creatively, they can enhance your photos. But when not controlled, they can lead to a decrease in image quality.
