In this video Jim Nix shows you how to use Luminosity Masking in Aurora HDR 2017. First, he explains what a Luminosity Mask is and how it allows you to get a very subtle implementation of your HDR photo –– for example, if you add a preset that might look too intense, and you add that same preset to a layer with Luminosity Mask, it will be very easy to manage that preset’s intensity. Then, Jim walks you through the steps on how to create a Luminosity Masking layer and explains how to use the different light levels within the Luminosity Masking tool.
